How do I know which blades to purchase?
What material are the RazorSafe blades constructed from?
What do the numbers mean?
Our patented RazorSafe System has grown and become a simplified blade compatibility system to easily ensure you are purchasing the correct blade sizes for your knife.
RazorSafe blades are available in black oxide or tumbled stainless steel to compliment the looks of your knife.
Lets face it, not all cutting tasks require the same blade. Why not have the choice between a plain edge or 50% serrated edge for those tough jobs.
RazorSafe blades are available in 2.2", 2.5", 3.0", 3.5" and 5.0" blade lengths and are compatible with corresponding blade holders and handles.
Drop point blade is the most common, but having the ability to change to a work, hook or even fillet blade at the push of a button changes the game.
How do I know which blades to purchase?
Look on the backside of the blade holder and reference the numeric indicator. 220=2.2", 250=2.5", 300 & 301=3.0", 350=3.5", 500=5.0"
What material are the RazorSafe blades constructed from?
All Outdoor Edge RazorSafe blades are made from Japanese 420J2 stainless steel that has been heat treated and hand finished.
What do the numbers mean?
These numbers are a numeric indicator to help our customers ensure they are buying the correct replacement blade packs for their knives
